Online Marketplace for Dietary

Supplements

Online Marketplace for dietary supplements that allows individual sales as well as monthly subscriptions. The user can easily browse through different categories, compare products and make purchases as well as sign up for monthly subscriptions that allow them to form a bundle to be delivered every month.

Challenges

The biggest challenge was to highlight compare products, and sign up for monthly subscriptions so customer can get a bundle at every month or week how ever they have done the subscription on. To solve the problems, we’d start brainstorming with the user story, first level navigation, second level navigation and hassle free subscription for Dietary Supplements.

We started to make a list of required features so we can do brainstorming and make the user flow to craft the best experience.

User Interface Design

All were set for next step, we started tranform low fi to interactive user interface. We wanted to make it clean, easy to understand and find, make sure product discoverability is there to save our user time so we decided to have very few or as less as possible products based on some criteria, like trending, what’s new, most subscribed one, some products that are common buying, also the problem solving part was to have compare products, reviews and other necessarly elements for user to make buying decision. If you noticed, we have set minimalist grid layout, minimalist color usage for brand tonality point of view and focused. There are many small elements were carefully designed to make the page clean and easy to scan products, product information, price, reviews, etc.

Based on the survey, user research, 75% of our users was browsing from mobile, so we designed the responsive page which gives consistency for multiple devices, even user can start subscribing or add to cart from laptop and finish checkout from mobile. We are delighted to work on this project and we’ll keep improving based on the future user feedback, analytics, user interviews etc.
